'Released' Premieres at Circle Cinema
After touring his film around the country, Clark Weins found himself at The Quad Cinema in New York City. Between screenings, Clark was popped his head into a neighboring theater and found himself moved and inspired by the film 'Released'. Having his own independent theater in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Clark jumped at the idea of playing 'Released' in his theater to raise awareness about incarceration and prison reform in Oklahoma, which has the highest incarceration rate in the country. The film screened to a full house and began important conversation in the community.
